Nourish the Children innitiative

Part of the reason I went in to this business was because of Nourish the Children, its an initiative that has recently raised over 350 million Vitameal bags to children in Malawi, Bolivia and China.

Due to this initiative not one child has died of malnutrition in Malawi since 'Nourish the Children was launched.

Nourish the Children® applies the rigour of successful business practices to provide a consistent and growing supply of nourishing food to the world’s most needy children. In April 2013 the Nourish the Children® initiative surpassed 300 million meals donated to malnourished and hungry children around the world, since the initiative was established. Today an average of 3.5 million meals is donated each month on an ongoing basis, feeding more than 100.000 hungry children around the world.

The NTC initiative was launched in June 2002. The programme quickly grew as thousands of generous donors recognised an opportunity to make a difference by purchasing and donating food designed for malnourished children. In October 2010 donations surpassed 200 million meals. It has now taken only a little over 2 years to add another 100 million meals. We look forward to the time when 100 million meals are donated every year to save malnourished children around the world.
